Master Peace’s friend, J.R. from NY, originally started this as a sound system setup before handing it over to him. A first thought that came to mind was creating a name that was catchy, yet stood true to the mission. This is when Electro Vibez was born, which happens to be inspired by the derivative of the speaker EV, 👍🏽 to EV!
During this time, they were holding dance parties and using vinyl records of Reggae / Dancehall.
The idea to create a web and social presence didn’t begin until early 2020. We’re slowly taking the baby steps necessary to ensure future success of the company, which brought us to here and now.
Electro Vibez adopted the suffix of JA, to represent and bring recognition to the team’s roots on Jamaican soils.
